IN THE 1800S, LOUISA MAY ALCOTT EXCHANGED UNCONVENTIONAL VIEWS FOR THE ROLES WOMEN COULD PLAY AS HUMANS, AND AS SHE ENCOUNTERED NEW PERSPECTIVES AND WAYS OF THINKING EVERYWHERE SHE TRAVELED, SHE EXPLORED CAPACITIES FOR FEMALES BY LEAVING BEHIND HER LEGENDARY, TIMELESS CLASSIC BOOK TITLED LITTLE WOMEN.
COMMENTARY:
(1)Alcott’s vision had always been striving for equality, and her support of the suffrage movement proved her belief in the unconventional roles for women.
(2)Elizabeth Alcott’s death was hard for Louisa, but also inspired her to do some of the greatest things in her life. Louisa’s sister’s death helped her grow up in the worst/best way.
